191: You May Have To Create 100 Videos Before You Get The Hang Of It With Immanuel From Depression Talks

This week we are joined by Immanuel Jones from the Depression Talks YouTube channel. We talk about how he is passionate about helping others, how he has grown his YouTube community so quickly, and how to make your channel look fantastic and SO much more!

About Immanuel Jones

Having bipolar depression myself, I’ve learned how to fight the constant battle of self-sabotage and neglect. I’ve overcome a suicide attempt, stopped letting depression run my life, and transformed my lack of confidence and self-esteem into believing in myself and my self-worth. This is why I love helping others do the same! I don’t want others to go through what I’ve been through, or think they are alone.

In this week’s episode, I chat with Kim from the Natural Kaos YouTube channel. We talk about her channel, how she went from a hobby to full-time and the thought that YouTube is an easy profession.

About Kim

I’m Kim Pratt and a mother of 4 boys that I had back to back in 5 years, I do not have any twins. We live in northern CA on 7 acres and my husband Jason and I have been married for 12 years. I have a political science and Spanish degree from BYU Hawaii, neither of which have anything to do with my channel:)

Natural Kaos Youtube focuses on professional skincare techniques that I started doing at home because I had a bunch of kids and couldn’t make office appointments. I knew that the procedures I was doing at home would be very searchable and that I most likely was not the only one doing things like this at home. I also travel a ton and so I share travel videos but these do not do nearly as well as the skincare; travel is a very competitive youtube market to break into. So I focus on my skincare videos because those do the best and I make travel videos because its a great keepsake for our family, and as the channel grows daily because of the skincare videos, the travel videos get more views. In fact, the boys and I are headed to Europe for a month in two weeks and I will vlog this adventure; mom with 4 young boys traveling alone through Europe; I’m not sure if it will get any traction but in the end the videos I make are for myself and if they inspire, encourage or help others in any way then that’s a bonus.

156: Passive Income And Making Your YouTube Channel Work For You With Clayton Morris

In this week’s episode, I chat with Clayton Morris. Clayton talks about his YouTube channel Morris Invest which he has grown to over 95 thousand subscribers in just a couple years!

About Clayton:

Husband, father of 3, travel addict, former Fox News anchor. And I’m a big fan of this radical idea that everyone should be able to achieve total financial freedom. Including you.

My mission is to help you achieve it — and to get there a lot faster and easier than you might have thought possible.

So join me. Let’s ask what we need to ask, learn what we need to learn, and do what we need to do… to achieve what we’ve always wanted.

Because life is a lot more fun when we actually get to live it.

In this week’s episode, I chat with Matthew Tabor. Matthew Tabor works with science and math education channel Vsauce2, hosted by Kevin Lieber. He also engages in channel development and creator management with Direct Artist Management. Matthew is the co-host of the podcast The Create Unknown, in which he and Kevin interview dynamic creators who have successfully navigated the ever-changing, uncertain landscape of online media — and reveal how others have been swallowed by digital quicksand.

About Matthew's podcast "The Create Unknown".

The Create Unknown explores the new dream job of YouTube creator by interviewing some of the most well-known, successful people on the platform. From talking motivation with SmarterEveryDay and iJustine to dissecting the art of the meme with Dr. Grandayy, Dolan Dark, and Vsauce’s Michael Stevens, The Create Unknown goes deep into what it’s actually like to make content for the online world -- and how any passion can be turned into a sustainable venture.

About Brody: (As written on his YouTube Channel about me page).

Hello person who is trying to find out facts about me! I'm Brody, a cringy kid that does basically what every other animator does. But uhhhh maybe you'll like my sense of humour. Please don't go. I basically started my channel in 2013 and made Mario plush videos. they were... They helped me learn how to do skits. Yeah, yeah. It took me years to find out I liked animation, and now I'm thankful for the support I've gotten on this journey. I'm Canadian, I like gummy worms, and that's all you need to know about me for now.
